\u00c0 deusa Meztli ou Ixchel<\/strong> s\u00e3o atribu\u00eddos os dons da fertilidade, da procria\u00e7\u00e3o, do trabalho, da cura, ela tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 conhecida como a deusa da \u00e1gua e da lua, j\u00e1 que os ciclos da lua governam a terra, portanto tamb\u00e9m semeiam e colhem.<\/p>\n

Por outro lado, sua figura tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 associada \u00e0 destrui\u00e7\u00e3o do mundo e \u00e0s doen\u00e7as, o que contrasta com seus dons.<\/p>\n

Tanto que sua representa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 emoldurada por s\u00edmbolos de morte, cobras, inunda\u00e7\u00f5es e caos.<\/p>\n

Na cabe\u00e7a ela usa uma cobra e na saia tem ossos em forma de cruz, segurando um coelho em uma m\u00e3o e uma flor na outra.<\/p>\n
