In de Griekse mythologie was Athena<\/strong> een krijgersgodin, gezegend met de gaven van strategie<\/strong> , wetenschap<\/strong> en vaardigheid<\/strong> . Geboren uit Zeus<\/a> , blijkt uit de verhalen over haar geboorte dat ze uit zijn hoofd tevoorschijn kwam, al volgroeid en volledig bewapend. Het hoofdverhaal is dat Zeus zijn moeder inslikte, waarna Hephaestus<\/a> haar hoofd opensneed, waaruit Athena<\/strong> ontsproot.<\/p>\n

Athena<\/strong> is een van de meest gerespecteerde en aanbeden godheden van het oude Griekenland, omdat zij rechtvaardige zaken<\/strong> en wijsheid<\/strong> vertegenwoordigde. Integendeel<\/strong> , voor zijn broer Ares<\/a> , die geweld en barbarij vertegenwoordigde, een van de belangrijkste goden uit de Griekse mythologie was en deel uitmaakte van de twaalf Olympische goden<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Athena, de adviseur van de helden <\/h2>\n

\"Atenea\"<\/p>\n

Deze godin koesterde grote bewondering<\/strong> voor stervelingen die gaven van goden toonden. Perseus<\/strong><\/a> wiens vastberadenheid de gunst van de godin won en haar hielp Medusa<\/strong> te doden. Heracles<\/strong> , wiens moed en moed dit deed met de gaven en hulp van de godin bij enkele van zijn twaalf werken<\/strong> . Odysseus<\/strong> , wiens sluwe en Perzische aard hem bij verschillende gelegenheden de hulp van de godin schonk.<\/p>\n

Arachne’s gebrek aan respect<\/h2>\n

Een van de bekendste verhalen over deze godin is haar bestraffing van Arachne. Volgens de legende was de jonge vrouw een zeer bekwame spinner en was daar erg trots op. Arachne besloot Athena<\/strong> uit te dagen voor een spinningwedstrijd.<\/p>\n

In de wedstrijd vertegenwoordigde Arachne de goden in hun grofste<\/strong> en meest zielige<\/strong> vorm , terwijl Athena<\/strong> hen in hun maximale pracht<\/strong> vertegenwoordigde.<\/p>\n

Als straf voor haar overtreding transformeerde Athena<\/strong> haar in een spin en veroordeelde haar tot eeuwig draaien.<\/p>\n

familie en kinderen<\/h2>\n

Ze is bij geen enkele gelegenheid getrouwd of heeft een affaire gehad, waardoor ze een eeuwige maagdelijkheid<\/strong> behield.<\/p>\n

Deze status bezorgde hem een belangrijke rol als handhaver van seksuele bescheidenheid<\/strong> . Hephaestus probeerde haar te verkrachten<\/strong> , maar dat lukte niet bij de krijgsgodin en zijn zaad belandde op aarde, zo werd Erithonio<\/strong> geboren, van wie Athena<\/strong> de rol van adoptiemoeder zou vervullen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
