In de Griekse mythologie is Aphrodite<\/strong> de godin van schoonheid<\/strong> en lust<\/strong> , passie<\/strong> en alles wat met seks<\/strong> en voortplanting<\/strong> te maken heeft. Geboren uit het sperma<\/strong> van Uranus<\/a> , wiens testikels<\/strong> werden afgesneden door Cronus<\/a> , werd Aphrodite als volwassene in de zee geboren en werd onmiddellijk door veel goden begeerd.<\/p>\n

Aphrodite en haar huwelijk met Hephaestus <\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Nadat Hera vastzat op deze gouden troon die door Hephaestus<\/strong><\/a> was gegeven, werd Aphrodite<\/strong> aan haar toegekend als compensatie voor haar mishandeling door Olympus<\/strong> . Zeus<\/a> aarzelde niet om het aan Hephaestus<\/strong> te geven vanwege het probleem dat een gevecht tussen de Olympische goden<\/a> zou kunnen opleveren om het in bezit te krijgen.<\/p>\n

Hephaestus<\/strong> overlaadde haar met geschenken, veel van de meest uiteenlopende en kostbare juwelen en zelfs een riem die haar aantrekkelijker maakte voor mannen.<\/p>\n

liefdesverhaal met Ares<\/h2>\n

Hoewel ze getrouwd was met Hephaestus<\/strong> , waren ze nooit samen omdat de godin ze niet wilde. Ares<\/strong> zou degene zijn die de verlangens en lusten<\/strong> van de godin zou bevredigen, zelfs als dit overspel<\/strong> op Olympus<\/strong> zou betekenen.<\/p>\n

Veel goden hoorden van Hephaestus<\/strong> over zijn overspel<\/strong> en besteedden weinig aandacht aan de beweringen van de god. in plaats daarvan werden ze allemaal jaloers op Ares<\/strong> en wensten dat ze in zijn plaats waren.<\/p>\n

Mededogen jegens Pygmalion<\/h2>\n

Hij was een beeldhouwer die in zijn leven een vrouw had gevonden die zijn liefde waardig was. Aphrodite<\/strong> voelde medelijden met hem en besloot hem te laten zien hoe geweldig hij was. In een van zijn dromen ziet Pygmalion<\/strong> Aphrodite<\/strong> en besluit ter ere van haar een beeldhouwwerk van de godin te maken. Na zo’n intiem contact met de godin te hebben gehad, besloot Pygmalion<\/strong> haar Galatea<\/strong> te noemen en vroeg om Aphrodite<\/strong> voor haar. De godin voelde opnieuw medelijden met haar liefde en blies leven in het beeld.<\/p>\n

familie en kinderen<\/h2>\n

De godin heeft nooit nakomelingen gehad met haar echtgenoot Hephaestus<\/strong> . Als hij haar bij Ares<\/strong> zou krijgen, zullen ze 6 kinderen krijgen: Phobos<\/strong> , Deimos<\/strong> , Anteros, Eros, Harmonia, H\u00edmero. Met Dionysus: Hymenaeus en Priapus.
