Met deze term worden de overtuigingen, legenden en religie van de Scandinavische volkeren als een geheel beschouwd, inclusief in dit geval degenen die zich in IJsland vestigden, de plaats waar de geschreven bronnen van de Noorse mythologie werden verzameld.<\/p>\n<p> Dit is de best bewaarde versie van de oude <strong>Germaanse mythologie<\/strong> , die gemeenschappelijk is voor elk van de Germaanse volkeren, en die uiteraard ook overeenkomt met <em>de Angelsaksische mythologie<\/em> , omdat deze nauw verwant is.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Historische bronnen van de Noorse mythologie<\/h2>\n<p> We moeten beginnen met op te merken dat dit geen mythologie is die wordt gedeeld door de Noordse volkeren van de Oeral-etniciteit ( <em>Eststaten, Finnen en Lappen<\/em> ), noch door de Baltische staten ( <em>Letten<\/em> ), aangezien zij hun eigen mythologie hadden. Naast het bovenstaande was het geen geopenbaarde religie, omdat er geen waarheid was die door het goddelijke aan stervelingen werd overgeleverd, afgezien van het feit dat er in sommige verhalen normale mensen zijn die de verhalen van de goden leren of dat er over sommige verhalen wordt verteld bezoeken van hen. <em>Er is ook geen heilig boek<\/em> . <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"783\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/mythologie-nordique.webp\" alt=\"Mitolog\u00eda N\u00f3rdica\" class=\"wp-image-118\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p> Langs deze lijnen werd <strong>de Noorse mythologie<\/strong> voornamelijk mondeling overgedragen in de vorm van lange, onregelmatige po\u00ebzie. In het midden van deze uitzending bevindt zich het <em>Vikingtijdperk<\/em> , en veel van wat we erover weten is voornamelijk gebaseerd op de <em>Edda&#8217;s<\/em> , evenals op andere middeleeuwse teksten die tijdens of na de kerstening zijn geschreven.<\/p>\n<p> In aanvulling op het bovenstaande hebben de overtuigingen die aan hen worden toegeschreven in <em>de Scandinavische folklore<\/em> een lange tijd geduurd en zelfs in sommige plattelandsgebieden zijn de tradities tot op de dag van vandaag in stand gehouden. In sommige andere gevallen zijn ze onlangs nieuw leven ingeblazen of opnieuw uitgevonden, zoals het geval van het <em>Germaanse neopaganisme<\/em> .<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Oorsprong van de Noorse mythologie<\/h3>\n<p> In feite is dit geen eenvoudige taak. Dit is te wijten aan het feit dat de data die aan hen worden toegeschreven, overwegend mondelinge tradities zijn, van generatie op generatie, en slechts speculaties zijn. In ieder geval wordt in het licht van de Gnosis vermeld dat de wortels afkomstig zijn van het <em>Heilige Eiland van het Noorden<\/em> , in <em>Thule<\/em> , gelegen in wat tegenwoordig <em>de poolcirkel<\/em> wordt genoemd.<\/p>\n<p> Vanaf dat moment werd de verborgen wijsheid van de goden doorgegeven via mythen en legenden van ras tot ras en van generatie op generatie. Rond de 10e eeuw vestigden Ierse monniken zich in IJsland om eenzaamheid te zoeken en kwamen in contact met de Vikingen, waarbij ze enkele van hun heidense gedichten verzamelden.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> De Vikingen in de Noorse mythologie<\/h3>\n<p> Historici schrijven tegenwoordig over de Vikingen als een groep mensen die vooral ge\u00efnteresseerd zijn in invallen, veldslagen en invasies. Deze groep kwam in actie in de jaren 793 en 1066 en vormde zich uit verschillende regio&#8217;s van Scandinavi\u00eb, voornamelijk Zweeds, Noors en Deens.<\/p>\n<p> Gebaseerd op <strong>de Noorse mythologie<\/strong> is het niet helemaal duidelijk waarom het Viking-volk hun pracht bereikte, maar er zijn twee redenen die dit helpen verklaren: ze waren een volk van zeevaarders in zee\u00ebn die normaal gesproken door verschrikkelijke stormen werden getroffen; en ze openden handelsroutes over bevaarbare rivieren en koloniseerden onontgonnen gebieden, waar <em>Erik de Rode<\/em> , die Amerika 500 jaar v\u00f3\u00f3r Columbus maakte, opviel.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Odin in de Noorse mythologie<\/h3>\n<p> Ten slotte merken we op dat <em>Woden<\/em> of <em>Wotan<\/em> de <em>\u201cVader van de Goden<\/em> \u201d is. Hij stond bekend als de <em>Lord of War<\/em> en de vader van de <em>glorieuze doden<\/em> .
