Dit wezen zou een beschermer zijn tegen het kwaad en trekt ook rijkdom aan, daarom wordt het het beest van het geluk genoemd.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> shang yang<\/h3>\n<p> Het is een grote vogel, hij heeft maar \u00e9\u00e9n poot en een lange en dunne snavel, waarmee hij water uit rivieren opneemt om het te verdrijven alsof het regen is. Daarom wordt hij ook wel de regenvogel genoemd. Ondanks dat het met zijn uiterlijk vaak op een kwaadaardig wezen lijkt, is Qilin in feite een welwillend dier dat vrede en welvaart bevordert, hoewel het agressief kan worden om onrecht te bestraffen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Shenglong<\/h3>\n<p> Hij is een draak die regen, wind en wolken controleert. Er wordt gezegd dat deze draak het vrouwelijke complement van de Shenlong is en het enige wat hij doet is vliegen en dan paren.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Nian<\/h3>\n<p> Het is een wezen met een enorme kop, scherpe klauwen en de vorm van een leeuw.
