Hun namen worden vertaald als <em>ons levensonderhoud.<\/em> Aan hen wordt de schepping van de Azteekse beschaving toegeschreven.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Tonacacihuatl, levensonderhoud<\/h2>\n<p> Als godin van de schepping was <strong>Tonacacihuatl<\/strong> verantwoordelijk voor copulatie, conceptie, geboorte en bevalling. Daarom staat ze in de Azteekse mythologie bekend als <em>de Oude Moeder.<\/em> <strong>Aan Tonacacihuatl<\/strong> werd de kracht van vruchtbaarheid toegeschreven, daarom wendden de inwoners van de Azteekse regio zich tot hem in een poging hen te steunen op het moment van de conceptie.<\/p>\n<p> Er wordt gezegd dat <strong>Tonacacihuatl<\/strong> ook bekend stond als Xochiquetzal, vertaald als <em>prachtige bloem.<\/em> Volgens <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/azteken\/\">de Azteekse mythologie<\/a> was <strong>Tonacacihuatl<\/strong> een van de meest waardevolle en liefdevolle goden.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Nakomelingen<\/h3>\n<p> <strong>Tonacacihuatl<\/strong> woonde met haar man Tonacatecuhtli in de hoogste hemel, ze kregen 4 kinderen, die waren:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Rode Tezcatlipoca kon de gedachten van anderen kennen.<\/li>\n<li> Ook bekend als Camaxtli; Zwarte Tezcatlipoca, zo genoemd omdat hij tussen alle wezens en dingen werd geboren.<\/li>\n<li> Quetzalcoatl, die bekend stond als een van de beste goden in deze mythologie, vanwege de nauwe relatie die hij had met het Azteekse volk.<\/li>\n<li> De jongste zoon heette Lord of the Bone <em>,<\/em> hoewel hij ook bekend stond als <em>The Snake with Two Heads,<\/em> de Azteekse inwoners noemden hem Huitzilopochtli.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Het erfgoed van de Azteekse cultuur<\/h2>\n<p> De nakomelingen van <strong>Tonacacihuatl<\/strong> en Tonacatecuhtli leerden mensen altijd te werken, de man zou het land bewerken en de vrouw zou spinnen of weven, wat aanleiding gaf tot het begin van de tijd en het leven in de wereld.<\/p>\n<p> De overtuigingen en kennis die de inwoners van de oude Azteekse regio bezaten, be\u00efnvloedden een groot aantal aspecten, verwijzend naar de cultuur van de Meso-Amerikaanse beschaving, waaronder de sculpturen, monumenten, tradities, dansen, gastronomie en identiteit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tonacacihuatl is de vrouwelijke godheid die, samen met Tonacatecuhtli, wordt beschouwd als de Azteekse goden van de natuurlijke schepping.
