Nunet<\/strong> was de godin van het essenti\u00eble water die naast regen en oceanen het leven vertegenwoordigde. Deze godheid was de dubbelganger van haar echtgenoot Nun, dat wil zeggen haar vrouwelijke versie, en vormde een van de vier paren Egyptische goden<\/strong> waaruit deze zij bestond. staat bekend als de Ogdoad van Hermopolis.<\/p>\n

Deze godheid werd ook Naunet genoemd, afgebeeld als een vrouw met een slangenkop, bekend als de Zonnemoeder, en symboliseerde de wateren die de lagere oceanen vormden, bekend als de ondergrondse hemel.<\/p>\n

Samen met haar echtgenoot Nun vertegenwoordigen deze goden de oorsprong van het leven, het licht en de wereld. Dit paar goden Nun- Nunet<\/strong> werden als scheppers beschouwd, daarom werden ze in Hermopolis aanbeden en samen kregen ze een zoon genaamd Atum. <\/p>\n

Ogdoad van Hermopolis<\/h2>\n

Deze groep werd geboren in Hermopolis, bestond uit acht Egyptische goden, die in paren waren, het mannelijke van elk paar werd aangevuld met het vrouwelijke dubbelganger, daarom stonden ze bekend als de oorspronkelijke goden, omdat het dankzij hen mogelijk was de schepping van wezens op aarde.<\/p>\n

Nunet<\/strong> en Nun waren het paar goden die de vloeibare chaos vertegenwoordigden, dat wil zeggen alles wat verband hield met het waterelement, een kracht die hen in staat stelde sterke stormen te veroorzaken. Er werd ook gezegd dat Nun en Nunet<\/strong> zich manifesteerden in de vorm van Ptha:<\/p>\n
