De Nihonshoki<\/strong> of Nihonshoki (\u65e5\u672c\u66f8\u7d00), letterlijk vertaald als \u201cKronieken van Japan\u201d, is het op een na belangrijkste boek en wordt beschouwd als het eerste offici\u00eble boek van de Japanse geschiedenis. Hoewel er verhalen zijn waarin duidelijk wordt overdreven over de deugden en tekortkomingen van keizers, zijn sommige bronnen van mening dat de rest van de inhoud volledig waar is.<\/p>\n

Nihonshiki en Kojiki, twee kanten van dezelfde medaille<\/h2>\n

In tegenstelling tot de Kojiki is de Nihonshoki<\/strong> geschreven in klassiek Chinees, wat de verschillen weergeeft waarmee de twee teksten werden ontwikkeld. Aan de ene kant wil Kojiki de inheemse Japanse traditie behouden, waardoor het orale en mythische karakter van de traditie zelf behouden blijft en het oude fonetische schrift met de modernste ideogrammen wordt opgenomen.<\/p>\n

Aan de andere kant vertoont de Nihonshoki<\/strong> een tendens naar de klassieke Chinese chronologische stijl, maar zonder volledig onder controle te lijken van de invloed ervan. Daarom werden feiten uit de Japanse mythologie<\/a> en<\/strong> het \u201ctijdperk van de kami\u201d in de inhoud ervan opgenomen, waarmee het lijkt alsof het een onafhankelijk model is.<\/p>\n

Nihonshoki blij<\/h2>\n

Op dezelfde manier als de Kojiki vertelt de Nihonshoki<\/strong> de geschiedenis van Japan vanaf de schepping door de goden, via de keizerlijke genealogie tot aan de 41e heerser, keizer Jit\u014d.<\/p>\n

De creatie van dit historische document was een project van keizer Ritsuryo<\/strong> , wiens functie het was om de geschiedenis van het land officieel te documenteren en de productie ervan duurde ongeveer 39 jaar. Dit boek bestaat uit een chronologische compilatie van gebeurtenissen die plaatsvinden op de Japanse archipel en bestaat uit een uitgebreide collectie bestaande uit in totaal dertig boeken.<\/p>\n

De eerste twee boeken van de collectie ontwikkelen de geschiedenis van het \u2018tijdperk van de kamis\u2019, waarin de scheppingsmythen, de mythen over de oorsprong van de goden en andere mythen verband houden met de geschiedenis van de mensen.<\/p>\n

Vanaf het derde boek en dankzij de eerder gelegde mythologische grondslagen is het bedoeld om de goddelijke afstamming van de keizers te rechtvaardigen en waarom zij voorbestemd waren om heersers te zijn. Vanaf dat moment, en voor de volgende achtentwintig boeken, wordt een verslag bijgehouden van alles wat rechtstreeks verband houdt met de heersers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
