Deze godheid was duidelijk verbonden met de gouverneurs, aangezien hij op zichzelf synoniem is met macht, naast het vertegenwoordigen van de overvloed aan oogsten waarmee ook de gunst van welvaart werd verworven tijdens de oude mandaten.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Uitbeelding van Kail<\/h2>\n<p> Hij wordt meestal afgebeeld als een oudere, gerimpelde man die altijd zit. Het belangrijkste kenmerk dat hem onderscheidt van andere goden is zijn lange, vertakte neus die een bepaald slurfachtig uiterlijk heeft.<\/p>\n<p> Zijn verschijning als oude man verbindt hem met de god <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/itzamna\/\">Itzamn\u00e1<\/a> , aangezien de Maya&#8217;s leeftijd associeerden met wijsheid. Het oog van de grote god brengt het ook in verband met <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/elk\/\">Chaac<\/a> , de god van het water, die er connotaties en gaven van helderziendheid aan geeft.
