De god <strong>Illapa<\/strong> , ook bekend als Chuqilla, Catuilla of Libiac, is de god van regen, donder en bliksem, in de Inca-mythologie is hij de god die verantwoordelijk is voor het elimineren van droogte en het verrijken van de aarde.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Wie was de god Illapa?<\/h2>\n<p> Onder de <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/goden-7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Incagoden<\/a> werd de god <strong>Illapa<\/strong> erkend als de god van het weer, verantwoordelijk voor het maken van hagel, donder en regen. Hij werd afgebeeld als een man in schitterende kleding, die een knuppel en stenen droeg, zijn imposante slinger vertegenwoordigde de donder, bliksem vond plaats met de beweging en pracht van zijn kleding en de steen bevatte bliksem.<\/p>\n<p> De god <strong>Illapa<\/strong> zou een kruik hebben gevuld met water uit de Melkweg toen het regende, wat betekende dat hij de kruik brak met zijn bliksem en donder was het geluid dat werd gemaakt toen zijn katapult bliksem voelde.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Rituelen uitgevoerd ter ere van de god Illapa<\/h3>\n<p> In tijden van droogte hadden de Inca&#8217;s onder hun rituelen het vastbinden van zwarte honden zonder ze voedsel of water te geven gedurende een aantal dagen, met de bedoeling dat ze, wanneer ze leden, gekreun, snikken en kreten zouden uitstoten, die de oren van de god zouden bereiken. <strong>Illapa<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p> Toen de god van het weer deze klaagzangen hoorde, kreeg hij medelijden met de dieren en stuurde hij regen om ze water te geven, waardoor hun dood werd voorkomen.<\/p>\n<p> Hij werd aanbeden tijdens pelgrimstochten naar met goud versierde tempels, die zich in de hoogste bergen bevonden, en als de droogte aanhield, werden ter ere van hem mensenoffers gebracht. Deze offers aan de <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/goden-7\/\">Inca-goden<\/a> gingen altijd gepaard met dansen en feesten, in een poging de god te plezieren, in dit geval het weer; zodat hij zo een einde kon maken aan de imposante droogte die de hele plaats verwoestte.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>De Inca&#8217;s hadden een cultuur die rijk was aan diverse geloofsovertuigingen, waarbij ze de verschillende goden aanbaden die in de natuur voorkomen.
