Zijn naam is afgeleid van het Latijnse \u2018merx\u2019, wat koopwaar betekent.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Oorsprong van Mercurius<\/h3>\n<p> <strong>Mercurius,<\/strong> zoon van <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/jupiter\/\">Jupiter<\/a> , de grootste godheid uit de Romeinse mythologie en de nimf Maya, zijn geboorte vond plaats op de berg Cileno, hij groeide op in de loop van de seizoenen, in Griekenland staat hij bekend als Hermes, deze godheid was de boodschapper van de goden, hij is meestal vertegenwoordigd door een naakte jongeman met vleugels en sandalen.<\/p>\n<p> Hij stond bekend als een god met grote sluwheid en behendigheid. Er wordt ook van hem gezegd dat hij de god van de dieven was, toen hij de pijlen van Apollo, de drietand van <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/neptunus\/\">Neptunus<\/a> en de sabel van Mars stal.
