Deze legende wordt vertegenwoordigd door een majestueuze feniks die de stad Kyoto beschermt tegen het zuidelijke windpunt. Hij heet Suzaku<\/strong> en symboliseert vuur en de zomer.<\/p>\n

suzaku<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Het is een van de vier wezens inde Japanse mythologie<\/a> ,<\/strong> die de windstreken symboliseert, samen met drie andere monsters genaamd Byakko<\/a> , Seiryu<\/a> en Genbu<\/a> .<\/p>\n

De basis van deze wonderen komt uit de Chinese astrologie die, merkwaardig genoeg, enkele eeuwen later in de Japanse mythologie<\/strong> werd ge\u00efntroduceerd onder de naam Onmyodo, die gebaseerd is op de studie van de vijf elementen en de beroemde yin yang.<\/p>\n

De Chinezen noemen Suzaku<\/strong> een vermiljoenvogel. Opgemerkt moet worden dat er in de stad Kyoto tempels zijn die zijn gewijd aan elk hierboven genoemd wezen, en daarom zijn ze verbonden met de vier windstreken.<\/p>\n

In het geval van de Kiyomizu-tempel, gewijd aan Seiryu, hebben ze een traditie van het uitvoeren van een nachtelijk ritueel ter ere van de blauwe draak.<\/p>\n

De vier beesten uit de Japanse mythologie<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Suzaku<\/strong> of feniksvogel: hij is felrood en we kunnen ook zijn drie andere metgezellen beschrijven die de belangrijke missie hebben om de stad Kyoto te beschermen.<\/p>\n

Byakko:<\/strong> De vorm is die van een witte tijger en vertegenwoordigt het element bliksem, lucht en herfst.<\/p>\n

Seiryu:<\/strong> zijn figuur is die van een helderblauwe draak, zijn element is water, hij vertegenwoordigt het lenteseizoen. <\/p>\n

Genbu:<\/strong> het uiterlijk is het schildpad- en het slanggedeelte, het vertegenwoordigt het aarde-element en het seizoen is winter.<\/p>\n

Deze wezens werden zo populair dankzij videogames dat hun namen zich over de hele wereld verspreidden.<\/p>\n
