Het is ook bekend dat uit de wortel ervan werd geboren als de bron die verantwoordelijk was voor het vullen van de bron van kennis die door Mimir werd bewaakt.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> yggdrasil <\/h2>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"324\" height=\"417\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/ghhf.webp\" alt=\"Yggdrasil\" class=\"wp-image-2147\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p> Op dezelfde manier wordt er gezegd dat <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/heimdall\/\">Heimdall<\/a> aan de voet van deze majestueuze boom staat, die verantwoordelijk is voor de bescherming ervan tegen de aanvallen van de draak Ni\u00f6loggr en talloze wormen die probeerden zijn wortels te breken om de goden die hij vertegenwoordigde te vernietigen.<\/p>\n<p> Er wordt ook gezegd dat hij de hulp had van de <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/noren\/\">Nornen<\/a> , die verantwoordelijk waren voor de zorg voor hem en hem water gaven uit de bron van Urg.<\/p>\n<p> Er was ook een brug die <strong>Yggdrasil<\/strong> verbond met het huis van de goden, dit was de regenboog die bekend staat als Bifr\u00f6st. Daarnaast wordt <strong>Yggdrasil<\/strong> bovenaan bewoond door een adelaar, door de stam de Ratatosk-eekhoorn, en van onder zijn takken vier veulens knabbelen aan de knoppen.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Domein <\/h3>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"722\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/la_legende_de_yggdrasil_par_kathamausl-d58iv1q-722x800-1.webp\" alt=\"Yggdrasil\" class=\"wp-image-2148\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p> Er zijn drie hoofdwortels van <strong>Yggdrasil<\/strong> : de eerste bereikt het rijk van de aasgoden, waar de fontein van Urder zich bevindt, waar de ouders van het zwanenras vroeger zwommen, en met dat water irrigeren de Nornen de <strong>Yggdrasil-<\/strong> boom.<\/p>\n<p> De tweede wortel strekt zich uit tot de hemel van de reuzen, waar de bron van Mimmer wordt gevonden, waarin volledige wijsheid wordt gevonden, en waarin <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/odin\/\">Odin<\/a> zijn oog achterliet als teken dat hij eruit kon drinken.<\/p>\n<p> Ten slotte is er de derde wortel, die naar het koninkrijk van duisternis en kou gaat, geknaagd door meerdere slangen, waaronder Nighurg.
