In Egypte stond Ptah<\/strong> bekend als een Griekse god onder de naam Hephaestus. De genoemde god had de vorm van een kleine man met een baard, hij was gewikkeld in een lijkwade, een pet op zijn hoofd, hij had ook een menat-halsketting, de scepter van uas en Anj.<\/p>\n

Zijn geschiedenis<\/h3>\n

Hij stond bekend als een godheid in Memphis; er was een van de belangrijkste tempels van Ptah,<\/strong> daarom werd in deze stad de verheffing van Ptah<\/strong> over alle steden van Egypte ge\u00efmpliceerd.<\/p>\n

Terwijl hij in de dagen van het Oude Rijk bekend stond als de god met de meeste macht, maar na verloop van tijd verloor hij zijn bekendheid tegenover Ra<\/a> en Amon<\/a> .<\/p>\n

De oude steden van Egypte vochten voortdurend met elkaar omdat ze Ptah<\/strong> als de schepper van de hele wereld beschouwden, hoewel uit dit verhaal ook bekend is dat hij samen met Ra en Amon de triade van het koninkrijk vormde.<\/p>\n

Er wordt gezegd dat Ptah<\/strong> alle Egyptische goden<\/a><\/strong> heeft geschapen en er deel van uitmaakte, regio’s stichtte, steden bouwde en de goden hun eigen plaats van aanbidding toewees. De naam van zijn vrouw was Sekhmet<\/a> en de naam van hun zoon was Nefertoum<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Aanbidden<\/h3>\n

Zijn cultus werd geboren in Memphis en niet alleen daar, veel steden zoals Deir-el-Medina en de tempels van Serabit el-Jadim werden voor hem gebouwd, daarom is de stad Memphis de politieke hoofdstad van dit koninkrijk en bleef zijn cultus behouden een zeer hoge positie in hun hele cultuur.<\/p>\n
