Wong Tai Sin<\/strong> is een van de Chinese goden<\/strong><\/a> die deel uitmaken van de Chinese mythologie<\/strong><\/a> en wordt in steden als Hong Kong en Jinhua zeer erkend vanwege de genezende kracht<\/u><\/em> die hem kenmerkte.<\/p>\n

Legende van Wong Tai Sin<\/h3>\n

Volgens Chisongzi<\/em> ’s eigen beschrijving van de \u201cMeester van de Rode Pijnboom\u201d<\/em> , die nog steeds bewaard wordt in de tempel die ter ere van deze godheid in de stad Hong Kong werd gebouwd, werd Wong Tai Sin<\/strong> geboren in het jaar 228 onder de naam Cho Ping Wong. in Lanxi.<\/p>\n

Volgens het verhaal van Wong ervoer hij honger en armoede, een pad dat ertoe leidde dat hij gras werd toen hij nog maar acht jaar oud was. Al snel, op vijftienjarige leeftijd, begon hij het tao\u00efsme te beoefenen, net nadat hij een onsterfelijk persoon had ontmoet die in de stad woonde waar hij werd geboren.<\/p>\n

De legende zegt dat hij veertig jaar later het vermogen had om stenen in schapen te veranderen. Na verloop van tijd werd het bekend als de eeuwige rode den<\/em> .<\/p>\n

Wong Tai Sin-tempel <\/h3>\n

Het is een toevluchtsoord dat zich vanwege zijn kenmerken heeft gevestigd als een toeristische trekpleister in de stad Hong Kong. Natuurlijk is het uitsluitend aan deze godheid gewijd. De uitbreiding bedraagt 18.000 vierkante meter.<\/p>\n

In 1915 kwam Leung, een toegewijde, naar Hong Kong en huurde een appartement in Wan Chai, waar hij een altaar oprichtte. Later opende hij een winkel waar hij geneeskrachtige kruiden verkocht en in het achtergedeelte konden klanten bij Wong Tai Sin bidden voor advies over het genezen van hun kwalen<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

Op een gegeven moment kwam er genezing en begonnen mensen te geloven. In 1958 werd de winkel echter door brand verwoest. In 1921 ontving Leung een bericht van Wong Tai Sin<\/strong> om een nieuwe tempel te bouwen.
