Als we het hebben over de belangrijkste Romeinse goden,<\/a><\/strong> is het gebruikelijk dat we Bacchus<\/strong> tegenkomen, een nogal controversi\u00eble god omdat hij zich concentreert op delirium en losbandigheid. Wat de oorsprong van deze godheid betreft, kunnen we zeggen dat deze zich bevindt na een avontuur tussen Jupiter en een mens genaamd Semele die de dochter was van een koning van Griekenland, aan de andere kant wordt er gezegd dat ze bittere momenten had vanwege Juno’s woede. bij het ontdekken van Jupiters ontrouw.<\/p>\n

De missie van deze god was niets anders dan zichzelf te bevrijden van zorgen en extreme zorg. Daarom wendde hij zich tot muziek en een instrument genaamd aul\u00f3s. Zijn figuur valt op omdat hij een vrij jonge en aantrekkelijke man vertegenwoordigt die, dankzij de Griekse bijdrage, deel ging uitmaken van de Romeinse cultuur<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

De cultus van Bacchus<\/h3>\n

Voor vieringen ter ere van hem werden de zogenaamde bacchanalen<\/strong> meestal in het geheim gehouden, wat aanvankelijk overeenkwam met grootschalige feesten waar veel drankmisbruik en politieke samenzweringen gepland waren. Alleen vrouwen konden deze bijeenkomsten bijwonen, maar later veranderde dit en waren ook mannen welkom.<\/p>\n
