I\u00f0unn<\/strong> , uitgesproken als Idun, staat onder de Noorse goden<\/a><\/strong> bekend als de \u2018eeuwig jonge\u2019 godin. Ze behoort tot de groep van Asynjur (de naam waarmee de godinnen uit de Noorse mythologie bekend waren) die in Asgard woonden, de vrouw van de god Bragi<\/a> en bewaker van de vrucht van het eeuwige, en is een van de jeugdgodinnen die in de Edda worden overwogen.<\/p>\n

In de Noorse mythologie was het de gepersonifieerde lente zelf, het was een symbool van de eeuwige jeugd, de goddelijkheid ervan was zo bijzonder dat het volgens sommige mythologen een hemelse schepping was die noch geboorte, noch de dood zou ervaren.<\/p>\n

Ze werd naar het paleis van de goden gebracht nadat Bragi, een van Odins<\/a> zonen en een persoonlijke dichter, met haar trouwde en haar meenam naar Asgard.<\/p>\n

Hartelijk welkom<\/h3>\n

Toen de godin van de eeuwige jeugd in Asgard aankwam, werd ze met vreugde ontvangen door alle goden, als dank en om genegenheid te verzekeren beloofde ze de goden dagelijks te proeven van de prachtige appels die ze in haar mand droeg. <\/p>\n

Om de waardering van de goden voor de betekenis van deze vruchten te vergroten, legde hij uit dat ze de kracht bevatten om schoonheid en eeuwige jeugd te schenken aan iedereen die ervan proefde.<\/p>\n

Deze magische vrucht, gedragen door I\u00f0unn,<\/strong> was in het voordeel van een groot deel van de goden die het product waren van mengsels van goden en stervelingen, omdat hij daardoor vele decennia kon leven.<\/p>\n
