{"id":205,"date":"2023-07-21T13:30:24","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T13:30:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/nidhogg\/"},"modified":"2023-07-21T13:30:24","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T13:30:24","slug":"nidhogg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/nidhogg\/","title":{"rendered":"Nidhogg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Nidhogg<\/strong> of Nidhug verschijnt in de mythologie van de <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/goden-3\/\"><strong>Noorse goden<\/strong><\/a> als de god die leeft in een van de takken van Yggdrasil, de heilige boom waaruit de negen werelden worden ondersteund en waar de goden leven die deel uitmaken van de Noorse mythologie.<\/p>\n<p> Er wordt gezegd dat hij voortdurend de wortels van deze boom aantast en dat zal ook zo blijven tot de dag dat Ragnarok komt, \u201chet einde van de wereld\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2> Nidhogg <\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2354\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/dragon1.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"573\" height=\"597\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p> Nidhogg wordt voorgesteld als een krachtige draak, vanwege zijn functie van het voortdurend aantasten van de wortel van Yggdrasil, waardoor sommigen hem \u201cdegene noemen die vol haat toeslaat\u201d, maar dit is te danken aan Ratatosk, die de oorsprong is van <strong>Nidhogg<\/strong> om hem te beloven om zijn dorst naar wraak te lessen met de komst van Ragnarok.<\/p>\n<p> Freyja, die de teleurstelling had ontdekt, gaat naar de wortels van Yggdrasil om <strong>Nidhogg<\/strong> te informeren over de teleurstelling die hij zijn hele leven heeft ervaren, en overtuigt hem ook om samen met haar deel uit te maken van haar opstand tegen Asgard.<\/p>\n<h3> plaats waar je woont<\/h3>\n<p> <strong>Nidhogg<\/strong> leeft in het Rijk van de Duisternis, een plaats gehuld in eeuwige mist genaamd Niflheim, waar een van Yggdrasils wortels groeit. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2355\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/dragon2.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"493\" height=\"636\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> Niflheim is niet alleen de plaats waar <strong>Nidhogg<\/strong> verblijft en vanwaar hij hard toeslaat terwijl hij voortdurend de wortels van <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/yggdrasil\/\">Yggdrasil<\/a> aantast, het is ook de plaats boven het rijk van de doden waar de reus Hela regeert.<\/p>\n<h3> De legende <\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2353 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/dragon-3.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"267\" title=\"\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> Volgens de Noorse mythologie zal het hele universum worden vernietigd wanneer de strijd die bekend staat als <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/ragnarok\/\">Ragnarok<\/a> komt, de goden onder leiding van <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/odin\/\">Odin<\/a> en de vuurreuzen, met de deelname van de Jotuns onder leiding van de god <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/loki\/\">Loki<\/a> .
