{"id":184,"date":"2023-07-22T12:57:54","date_gmt":"2023-07-22T12:57:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/belenus\/"},"modified":"2023-07-22T12:57:54","modified_gmt":"2023-07-22T12:57:54","slug":"belenus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/belenus\/","title":{"rendered":"Belenus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Belenus<\/strong> is een van de <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/goden-12\/\"><strong>Keltische goden<\/strong><\/a> , beter bekend als de god van de zon, vuur en licht, ze noemden hem ook degene die schijnt, waarvoor hem een grote regeneratieve en zuiverende kracht werd toegeschreven, waarvoor hij werd geassocieerd met genezing; Zoals algemeen werd vermeld onder de Ieren, vierden ze op 1 mei het festival van Beltaine ter ere van deze godheid, waar mensen dansten en kleurrijke kostuums droegen om de komende lente te verwelkomen.<\/p>\n<h2> belenus <\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2015\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/belenus.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1340\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p> Ook bekend als onder andere Belenos, Beltayne, Balor, Beli, hij was een god die genezende krachten ontving vanwege zijn relatie met zonlicht en vuur, om deze reden wordt hij vergeleken met de Griekse god <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/apollo-zonnegod\/\">Apollo<\/a> , naast zijn nauwe band met de kwaliteiten die <strong>Belenus kenmerken,<\/strong> en genezing.<\/p>\n<p> Op dezelfde manier werd hij verward met de god Grannus \u201cThe Shining\u201d, die bronnen, mineralen en de zon regenereert.<\/p>\n<p> Merk op dat <strong>Belenus<\/strong> er niet aan ontkomt een metgezel aan zijn zijde te hebben; het is Belisama, de godin van het vuur, die zijn vrouw was, beiden stonden bekend als briljant en luisterrijk vanwege hun band met de vlam.<\/p>\n<p> Naast haar genezende krachten is haar ook de verantwoordelijkheid toevertrouwd om voor schapen en vee te zorgen, dus beginnen Beltaine&#8217;s festiviteiten als dankbaarheid voor het beschermen van de warmte van elk huis. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2013 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/belenus.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"452\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p> Momenteel worden deze beroemde festiviteiten onderscheiden onder de naam \u201cMeidag\u201d gewijd aan <strong>Belenus<\/strong> , de god van de zon.
