Hij was een belangrijke godheid in de Azteekse religie; Beschouwd als een opperste regengod, werd hij vereerd als een weldoener, gever van leven en levensonderhoud, hoewel hij tegelijkertijd werd gevreesd vanwege zijn vermogen om hagel, donder en bliksem te sturen.<\/p>\n<h2> <strong>Tlaloc, god van de bliksem<\/strong> <\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1411 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/tlaloc.webp\" alt=\"tlaloc\" width=\"294\" height=\"320\" title=\"\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/p>\n<p> Bekend als de god van de bliksem, werd hij tegelijkertijd beschouwd als de heer van het krachtige waterelement, wat tot uiting kwam in de <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/demeter-de-vruchtbaarheid-van-de-godin-landbouw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vruchtbaarheid<\/a> en overvloed aan gewassen, aangezien de regio werd gekarakteriseerd als een landbouwstad.<\/p>\n<p> Alle mensen uit die tijd smeekten de god <strong>Tlaloc<\/strong> om zijn tussenkomst om de wolken te versterken en ze waren in staat overvloedig water uit de <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/tezcatlipoca-heer-van-de-hemel-aarde\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lucht<\/a> te halen om uitstekende oogsten te verkrijgen voor het levensonderhoud van de mensen.<\/p>\n<h3> <strong>Een familie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> <strong>Tl\u00e1loc<\/strong> zoon van Ometecuhtli en Omecihuatl, echtgenoot van de godin van het water en de liefde (Chalch\u00eduhtlicue) en vader van de tlalocas (wolken); Volgens de legende markeren zijn kinderen de vier hoeken van het universum en houden ze vier vazen vast met daarin: goede regen, hagel, droogte en vervuild water.<\/p>\n<p> Van daaruit brachten beschavingen offers en gebeden voor deze god om een van zijn zonen te sturen voor goede regen op hun land om vruchtbaarheid in hun gewassen te verkrijgen.<\/p>\n<h3> <strong>Een kracht<\/strong> <\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1413\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/e61ee665ad37e8f668c38ce497891920.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"236\" height=\"354\" title=\"\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/p>\n<p> Zijn macht wordt ook geassocieerd met de wateren die uit grotten, beken en bergen stromen. Uit verhalen blijkt dat hij op een berg woonde die nog steeds zijn naam draagt. Ze kwamen daar om offers te brengen en zijn voordelen te ontvangen.<\/p>\n<h3> <strong>Een erfenis voor de mensheid<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p> De erfenis van generaties is dat deze beschaving zelfs na zoveel eeuwen de hulp inroept van de god <strong>Tlaloc<\/strong> , om hen het volgende te schenken: overvloedige regen voor gewassen, het elimineren van droogte, het opbreken van hagelwolken en het beheersen van stormen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Onder de Tolteekse goden staat Tlaloc bekend als de god van de bliksem of de god van de regen.
