Volgens Plinius was het voor zijn natuurlijke historie een slang van minder dan twaalf vingers lang en zeer giftig, zozeer zelfs dat hij overal waar hij passeert een spoor van gif achterlaat.<\/p>\n

Basilicum <\/h2>\n

\"Basilisco\"<\/p>\n

Het is belangrijk om te weten dat zijn zwakte de geur van wezel is, die hem zelfs in zijn hol bang maakt. Misschien komen de legenden van de Basilisk<\/strong> in Europa van bepaalde Aziatische slangensoorten, zoals de koningscobra, en zijn natuurlijke roofdier, de mangoest. .<\/p>\n

Verschijning<\/h3>\n

De Basilisk<\/strong> heeft een zeer spitse kop en een witte vlek in de vorm van een driepuntige kroon, ogen als vlammen, dat wil zeggen heel helder en rood.<\/p>\n

Het vinden van een Basilisk<\/strong> was een symbool van pech, omdat het leidde tot de dood van hele gezinnen, de pijn was ondraaglijk en ging gepaard met een droge hoest waardoor mensen beetje bij beetje zoveel gewicht verloren dat ze beetje bij beetje in de botten bleven zitten en het is passend om te vermelden dat de rest van de bewoners van het huis ook doodziek werden.<\/p>\n

Zo erg zelfs dat tovenaars en priesters spreuken uitspraken terwijl ze op hun beurt de huizen verbrandden waar het kwaad van de Basilisk<\/strong> plaatsvond.<\/p>\n

Jongens<\/h3>\n

De aanwezigheid van deze ongewenste kolonisten heeft aanleiding gegeven tot honderden verhalen en er zijn zelfs vier soorten Basilisken gedateerd.<\/p>\n

1. De gewone basilicum<\/strong> : degene die hierboven is beschreven, degene waar de hele bevolking bang voor was.<\/p>\n

2. Sauro Basilisk<\/strong> : Hij was ongeveer 2 meter lang, had weinig intelligentie en bewoog zich langzaam ondanks zijn acht poten en versteende blik.<\/p>\n

3. Basilisk<\/strong> Sauro Mayor: groter en intelligenter dan de vorige en volgens legendes waren zij de verdedigers van schatten, hun adem was hun beste wapen omdat het in staat was hun aanvallers te vernietigen.<\/p>\n
