Hij en Gaia zijn de voorouders van de meeste Griekse goden, maar er is geen aanbidding die specifiek op hem gericht is.<\/p>\n<h2> Uranus, god van de hemel <\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-788\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/uranus1.jpg\" alt=\"Urano\" width=\"500\" height=\"607\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p> <strong>Urano<\/strong> staat in <strong>de Griekse mythologie<\/strong> bekend als de god van de hemel, in de Romeinse mythologie bekend als Caelus. Hij was de zoon en echtgenoot van <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/gea-god-de-aarde\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gea<\/a> , moeder aarde.<\/p>\n<p> Er wordt gezegd dat hij alleen door Gaia is verwekt, maar andere bronnen zeggen dat Aether zijn vader is, maar de meest betrouwbare bronnen vermelden dat Gaia hem alleen heeft verwekt.<\/p>\n<p> Uranus en Gaea waren de voorouders van de eerste generatie <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/titanen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Titanen<\/strong><\/a> , namelijk <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/kind\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Crio<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/ceo-titan-intelligentie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ceo<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/hyperiongod-zwerft-door-de-hoogten\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hyperion<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/iapet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iapetus<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/oceaangod-van-de-zee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ocean<\/a> en Cronos. Zijn jongste kinderen bleken echter monsters te zijn als de cyclops Arges, Brontes en Esteropes, eenogige reuzen en reuzen met honderd armen en vijftig hoofden.<\/p>\n<h3> uranus castratie <\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-789\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Uranus-2.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"188\" height=\"278\" title=\"\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/p>\n<p> In de Theogonie vertelt Hesiodus dat Uranus zijn kinderen in de baarmoeder van zijn moeder vasthield toen ze op het punt stonden geboren te worden, omdat hij zich voor hen schaamde. Daarom bedacht Gaia een plan om wraak op hem te nemen, dus vroeg hij om hulp van de <strong>Titanen<\/strong> , maar alleen Crono was bereid hem te helpen. Gaia sneed een sikkel uit Flint en gaf die aan Crono, die deze gebruikte om zijn vader te castreren en zijn geslachtsdelen achter hem aan weg te gooien.<\/p>\n<p> De bloeddruppels die uit de geslachtsdelen vloeiden, brachten Erinyes en Nimfen ter wereld. Bovendien produceerden de geslachtsdelen van Uranus, wanneer ze in de zee werden gegooid, een schuim waaruit Aphrodite werd geboren.<\/p>\n<p> Nu zette Crono zijn vader gevangen in Tartarus samen met de Cyclopen en Hecatonchires, voor wie hij ook bang was, en werd zo koning van het universum.
