Nu waren <strong>de vogels Stymphalus<\/strong> monsterlijke wezens uit<a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/grieks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>de Griekse mythologie<\/strong><\/a> .<\/p>\n<h2> Stymphalische vogels <\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1016\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/birdie-final.webp\" alt=\"Aves del Est\u00ednfalo\" width=\"315\" height=\"305\" title=\"\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/p>\n<p> Deze ongelooflijke vleesetende vogels werden gekenmerkt door een bronzen snavel, poten en vleugels, maar ze hadden ook een zeer relevant kenmerk en dat was de giftigheid van hun uitwerpselen, die vernietigden:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Vee.<\/li>\n<li> De oogst.<\/li>\n<li> Passeer rond het meer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Niemand had ze kunnen doden, aangezien ze zichzelf verdedigden door hun metalen veren op hun aanvallers los te laten en nadat ze dit hadden gedaan, ze hun lichamen heerlijk verslonden. Opgemerkt moet worden dat dit alleen gebeurde als de persoon niet gewapend was, anders zouden ze wegrennen .<\/p>\n<p> De omvang van de <strong>Stymphalische vogels<\/strong> was zo groot dat ze het water van het meer blokkeerden voor het ontvangen van zonlicht of de weerspiegeling van de sterren.<\/p>\n<p> Omdat er zoveel problemen mee zijn, besluit Eurystheus <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/nl\/heracles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heracles<\/a> (ook wel Hercules genoemd) de taak toe te vertrouwen om een einde te maken aan de <strong>Stymphalian Birds<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<h3> Hercules en de vogels <\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1012\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/des-oiseaux.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"390\" height=\"228\" title=\"\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/p>\n<p> Heracles wist niet hoe hij deze moeilijke taak moest uitvoeren, omdat er te veel vogels waren voor zijn weinige pijlen en zijn kracht niet genoeg was om ze allemaal te vernietigen.<\/p>\n<p> Maar de godin Athena kwam hem te hulp door hem een bronzen rammelaar te geven die de eigenschap had de <strong>vogels van de Stymphale<\/strong> weg te jagen en zijn pijlen te vermenigvuldigen.<\/p>\n<p> Daarom hoefde hij alleen maar de berg te beklimmen, de rammelaar te luiden zodat ze bang zouden worden en tijdens hun vlucht zou Heracles ze met zijn pijlen neerschieten, zo was het meer vrij van vogels.<\/p>\n<p> Tot slot is het vermeldenswaard dat deze plaats tegenwoordig de Zaraka-vallei wordt genoemd.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Om te beginnen lag het Stymphalus-meer aan de voet van de berg Cilene (in het laagste deel), waar twee rivieren door kanalen stroomden die, na een ondergronds kanaal, naar buiten terugkeerden naar Argos.
