Para gadis cantik ini juga bertanggung jawab merawat Taman megah Hesperides<\/strong> milik dewi Hera<\/em> , terdapat pohon apel emas yang memberikan keabadian bagi siapa pun yang memakannya.<\/p>\n

Diasumsikan ada tujuh Melides yang menyandang nama Egle, Arethusa, Ethitea, Hestia, Hespera, Herperusa dan Hesperia. Taman suci ini dijaga oleh seekor naga ganas berkepala seratus bernama Ladon bersama dengan bidadari matahari terbenam.<\/p>\n

Taman itu merupakan hadiah pernikahan dewi bumi Gaia<\/em> kepada Hera,<\/em> istri Zeus.<\/p>\n

Setelah beberapa waktu , Hera<\/em> menghukum Heracles<\/a><\/em> yang kepadanya dia memberikan 12 tugas, salah satunya adalah pergi ke Taman Hesperides untuk mengambil apel emas dan mengirimkannya ke Eurystheus ,<\/em> selama pengembaraan ini dia bertemu Atlas<\/em> yang dia minta bantuannya.<\/p>\n

Titan ini membantunya, namun dengan syarat dia memegang kubah langit yang dia bawa di pundaknya.<\/p>\n

Mengambil Apel Emas Keabadian <\/h3>\n

Heracles menerima syarat ini, jadi Atlas<\/em> pergi mencari apel emas di Taman Hesperides.<\/p>\n
