Als treue Begleiterin ihrer Mutter besch\u00e4ftigte sich Hera mit ihr w\u00e4hrend der <strong>Geburt<\/strong> von Leto, der Mutter von <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/de\/artemis-die-gottin-der-jagd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Artemis<\/strong><\/a> und Apollo. Sowie bei der von Alkmene, der Mutter des <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/de\/herakles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Herakles<\/strong><\/a> .<\/p>\n<h2> Illithia und die Geburt von Artemis und Apollo <\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-667\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/illithia.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"437\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p> Als bei Leto <strong>die Wehen<\/strong> einsetzten, verfluchte Hera sie, sodass sie nicht dort geb\u00e4ren konnte, wo die Sonnenstrahlen die Erde ber\u00fchrten. Zeus befahl, sie dorthin zu bringen, wo <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/de\/poseidon-konig-die-meere-die-ozeane\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Poseidon<\/a> mit den Wellen des Meeres eine Kuppel formte. Als die anderen G\u00f6tter sahen, <strong>dass Illithia<\/strong> sich verz\u00f6gerte, schickten sie <strong>Iris<\/strong> los, um sie zu finden. Als <strong>Illithia<\/strong> den Geburtsort ber\u00fchrte, wurden die Jungen geboren.<\/p>\n<p> Andere Versionen der Geschichte besagen, dass die G\u00f6ttin erst vom <strong>Olymp<\/strong> herabstieg, als die anderen G\u00f6tter ihr eine pr\u00e4chtige Halskette aus Gold und Bernstein schenkten. Nachdem er es erhalten hatte, ging er sofort hin, um dem schmerzenden Leto zu helfen, und so wurden die beiden Zwillingsbr\u00fcder geboren.<\/p>\n<p> Es wird mit <strong>Artemis<\/strong> in Verbindung gebracht, seit sie Zeus um die Macht bat, <strong>Frauen<\/strong> in den Wehen zu helfen. Dieses <strong>Artemis<\/strong> zugeschriebene Geschenk wurde wahrscheinlich dadurch inspiriert, dass <strong>Illithia<\/strong> ihre Mutter Leto w\u00e4hrend ihrer <strong>Wehen im Stich<\/strong> lie\u00df.<\/p>\n<h2> Andere Darstellungen<\/h2>\n<p> Er wurde meist neben <strong>Artemis<\/strong> und <strong>Persephone<\/strong> dargestellt. Jeder von ihnen trug eine Fackel, mit der er den Weg der in der Dunkelheit verlorenen <strong>Kinder<\/strong> beleuchtete; sie zur\u00fcck ans Licht bringen.<\/p>\n<p> Die Gef\u00e4\u00dfe, in denen die Geburt der Athene aus dem Kopf des Zeus dargestellt war, zeigten <strong>Illithia,<\/strong> wie sie ihr beistand.<\/p>\n<p> Auf vielen griechischen Alt\u00e4ren waren im <strong>Kinderzimmer<\/strong> kleine Figuren zu sehen.
