Unter den <a href=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/de\/gotter-5\/\">Maya-G\u00f6ttern<\/a> war dieser Gott <strong>Chac Bolay,<\/strong> der auch den Durchgang der Sonne durch die Unterwelt darstellte.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Chac Bolay, der Jaguargott<\/h2>\n<p> <strong>Chac Bolay<\/strong> war der Jaguargott, er war mit dem Herrn des Todes, Yum Cimil, verwandt; Den Maya zufolge war er der Schutzpatron des Tages Akbal, der die Dunkelheit symbolisierte, den siebten Tag des Kalenders. Die Mayas behaupteten, dass sich der Sonnengott nachts in einen Jaguar verwandelte, um in der Dunkelheit durch die Welt der Toten reisen zu k\u00f6nnen, weshalb <strong>Chac Bolay<\/strong> mit der Sonne und der Unterwelt in Verbindung gebracht wurde.<\/p>\n<p> Charakteristisch f\u00fcr diese Gottheit war die Darstellung eines Jaguarkopfes mit einer Haarstr\u00e4hne auf der medialen Seite, dessen Schneidez\u00e4hne nach au\u00dfen zeigten und dessen K\u00f6rper mit Flecken bedeckt war, die den Nachthimmel mit seinen Sternen symbolisierten.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Warum war der Jaguar f\u00fcr die Mayas wichtig?<\/h3>\n<p> Die Mayas bewunderten den Jaguar f\u00fcr die Kraft und das Geschick dieses Tieres bei der Jagd. Er repr\u00e4sentierte auch andere Gottheiten, sowohl aus der nat\u00fcrlichen als auch \u00fcbernat\u00fcrlichen Welt, f\u00fcr die er als Herr der Tiere respektiert und gepriesen wurde.<\/p>\n<p> Nach ihrem Glauben beherrschte der Jaguar die kosmischen Kr\u00e4fte von Tag und Nacht, daher war er eine Nacht- und D\u00e4mmerungskatze, er galt auch als heiliges und einzigartiges Symbol, da eine Reihe von Gottheiten mehrere seiner Eigenschaften erlangten.<\/p>\n<p> In der Maya-Kultur stellte diese Katze das dar, was im kosmischen Raum zu finden war, und symbolisierte au\u00dferdem Leben und Fruchtbarkeit.
