Diese Gottheit ist als <strong>Ix U<\/strong> , die Mutterg\u00f6ttin, bekannt. Sie wird mit dem Mond in Verbindung gebracht, weil sie weiblich ist und Liebe und Ruhe besitzt.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Ix U<\/strong> ist auch als Ix Chel bekannt, diese G\u00f6ttin hatte zwei Gesichter, wie der Mond, eines, in dem sie freundlich und m\u00fctterlich war, das andere Gesicht geh\u00f6rte der F\u00e4higkeit der Zerst\u00f6rung, aus diesem Grund wird <strong>Ix U<\/strong> in zwei Aspekten dargestellt, dem Zuerst eine h\u00fcbsche junge Frau, die auf den Knien ein Kaninchen tr\u00e4gt, das die F\u00e4higkeit zur Fortpflanzung symbolisiert, und unter einer Mondsichel sitzt.<\/p>\n<p> Der zweite Aspekt der G\u00f6ttin <strong>Ix U<\/strong> ist der einer alten Frau, gekleidet in einen Rock mit Knochen in Form eines Kreuzes, die auf ihrem Kopf eine Schlange tr\u00e4gt, die Weisheit und Okkultismus symbolisiert. Legenden besagen, dass <strong>Ix U<\/strong> \u00dcberschwemmungen ausl\u00f6ste. Dies lag daran, dass die Gezeiten anstiegen, als sich der Mond n\u00e4herte.
