Anhand dieser Matrizen l\u00e4sst sich deutlich erkennen, dass es sich um eine Gottheit mit durchaus ausgepr\u00e4gter Dualit\u00e4t handelt, einerseits wird sie als g\u00fctiger Gott, Schutzpatronin der Kaufleute und fahrenden Verk\u00e4ufer sowie Besch\u00fctzerin des Reisens und der Reisenden dargestellt. ; andererseits wird er als Gott der Zerst\u00f6rung, des Chaos und des Todes dargestellt.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Auftritt von Ek Chuah<\/h2>\n<p> Aufgrund seiner Doppelfunktion als Gott wird diese Gottheit auf zwei Arten dargestellt, die jede seiner Facetten repr\u00e4sentieren.<\/p>\n<p> Der erste, als g\u00fctiger Gott der Kaufleute, wurde als Mann dargestellt, der ein gro\u00dfes B\u00fcndel Waren auf dem R\u00fccken trug und einen Hilfsstab in der Hand hielt, der auch ein Speer war, was auf seine Rolle als Besch\u00fctzer der Kaufleute hindeutete.<\/p>\n<p> In seiner zweiten Facette wird <strong>Ek Chuah<\/strong> als Kriegsgott mit einem Speer in der Hand dargestellt und ist immer im Kampf, entweder als Sieger, indem er seine Feinde t\u00f6tet und alles um ihn herum zerst\u00f6rt, oder als er von anderen Kriegsg\u00f6ttern besiegt wird.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Ek Chuahs Beziehung zur Menschheit<\/h2>\n<p> <strong>Ek Chuah<\/strong> war nicht nur der Wohlt\u00e4ter der Kaufleute und einer der Kriegsg\u00f6tter, sondern auch der Gott des Kakaos. F\u00fcr die Mayas war Kakao ein sehr wichtiges und wichtigstes Produkt in der Landwirtschaft, er wurde sogar als Zahlungsmittel bei Transaktionen verwendet.<\/p>\n<p> Um die Gunst dieser Gottheit zu erlangen, f\u00fchrten Kakaoplantagenbesitzer Rituale im Namen von <strong>Ek Chuah<\/strong> durch und sorgten so f\u00fcr eine f\u00fcr die damalige Zeit gute Ernte.<\/p>\n<p> Manche Leute denken, dass die Tatsache, dass die Maya-Zivilisation einen Gott f\u00fcr Krieg und Handel hatte, wenig Sinn ergibt und wahrscheinlich einer der Faktoren ist, die beim Aussterben dieser gro\u00dfartigen Kultur eine Rolle gespielt haben.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ek Chuah , bekannt als einer der wichtigsten Maya-G\u00f6tter , war der Gott des Handels und einer der Kriegsg\u00f6tter sowie der Gott des Kakaos.
