In diesem Sinne beschreiben Yin und Yang<\/strong> die beiden gegens\u00e4tzlichen, sich aber erg\u00e4nzenden Grundkr\u00e4fte, die in allen Dingen vorhanden sind. Was Yin<\/u><\/strong> betrifft, ist es das weibliche Prinzip, Dunkelheit, Passivit\u00e4t, Absorption und Erde. Was Yang<\/u><\/strong> betrifft, so ist es das m\u00e4nnliche Prinzip, Licht, Himmel, Aktivit\u00e4t und Durchdringung. <\/p>\n

Ursprung von Yin und Yang<\/h2>\n

Die urspr\u00fcngliche Bedeutung der Begriffe Yin und Yang<\/strong> ist nicht genau bekannt. Was das traditionelle chinesische Schriftzeichen f\u00fcr Yin betrifft, so stellt es den n\u00f6rdlichen und bew\u00f6lkten Teil eines Berges dar, w\u00e4hrend es im vereinfachten Fall das Schriftzeichen f\u00fcr den Mond<\/em> hat. Auf dem Yang ist es derjenige, der den s\u00fcdlichen und sonnigen Hang eines Berges darstellt, in der vereinfachten Version erscheint die Sonne<\/em> .<\/p>\n

Laut dem Philosophen Wing-Tsit Chan werden diese beiden Konzepte mit dem nat\u00fcrlichen Ph\u00e4nomen der Bew\u00f6lkung, die die Sonne bedeckt, und ihrer Leuchtkraft in Verbindung gebracht. Was Mircea Eliade betrifft, so zitiert er Marcel Granet, um darauf hinzuweisen, dass der Begriff Yin mit K\u00e4lte, Innerem und Bedeckung verbunden ist, w\u00e4hrend Yang mit den Vorstellungen von Hitze und Sonnenschein verbunden ist.<\/p>\n
