Er war der erste mythische K\u00f6nig der Tartessos-Zivilisation und der Nachfolger des ber\u00fchmten Gargoris. Er war ein Nachkomme der Medusa und andere Versionen behaupten, er stamme von der Titan Ocean, seine Kraft war au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich und sein Vieh wurde von seinem Hirten Eurytion und seinem zweik\u00f6pfigen Hund Ortho betreut. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1123\" src=\"https:\/\/ancientmythology.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Heracles-et-Geryon.webp\" alt=\"Geri\u00f3n\" width=\"324\" height=\"258\" title=\"\" srcset=\"\" sizes=\"auto, \"><\/p>\n<h3> gruseliges Aussehen<\/h3>\n<p> In Dantes g\u00f6ttlicher Kom\u00f6die galt <strong>Geryon<\/strong> als ein Tier mit einem Skorpionschwanz, aber mit dem Gesicht eines ehrlichen Mannes, der in Phlegeton lebte, am Rande des siebten Kreises (dem der Gewalt), der aus der H\u00f6lle herabsteigt.<\/p>\n<p> Einigen Fabeln zufolge war er kein Mann mit drei K\u00f6rpern, sondern vielmehr drei Br\u00fcder, die in solcher Harmonie lebten, dass es schien, als w\u00fcrden sie von derselben Seele angetrieben.
